UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Over the years, classmates have sent old photos, memorabilia to scan and a lot of other stuff.

WebMama is happy to present a whole lotta other good stuff, including pajama parties (now known as sleepovers) for the years between 1961-1963.  Now, I am sure you males are getting excited, but just remember, we were all young and innocent back then.  Most of us.

Thanks to Trish Dunn Jones, Sharon Nakamoto Bower, Cathie Parks, Jan Smith Olivas and April Tannahill Easter, Bob Van Limburgh, Jan Tonner. Arlene Stout Williams and your WebMama for all the contributions.

BOB VAN LIMBURGH sent in these old photos of his prom date, Kitty Jenkins, below right.  Below is a rare color photo of Homeroom 239.  There’s another of Bob enlisting after graduation, while his dad swears him in.  Bob was in the Civil Air Patrol with Matt Kramer and a photo was taken of both at a dinner.

SHARON NAKAMOTO BOWER

Sharon may live in New York with husband, Tom, but her heart is still in the islands.  She visits often, usually in the summer, and the two are preparing for retirement in the islands.  Sharon meets her girlfriends from the islands in Las Vegas too.  Here are some candids of the local gang together.

Sharon’s friends at the hospital where she works helped celebrate her 60th birthday in 2005!  Wow!  Notice the Hawaiian theme, leis, banner, a lonely palm tree!

TRISH PAT DUNN JONES

Trish entrusted your Mama with some special print memorabilia never seen before. Check out the names of the Senior Class Play.  Now you can say you worked with “The Bet!”  Look at the contributors of The Window (1963), Radford’s first literary publication  –  you can now say that “You’re published.”
